ALS Scope of Practice

As a Paramedic you can: perform RSI and endotracheal intubation, establish IV/IO access, administer ALS medications (epinephrine, amiodarone, adenosine, dopamine, norepinephrine, lidocaine, atropine, morphine, fentanyl, midazolam, diazepam, naloxone, D50, and more), perform needle decompression, synchronized cardioversion, transcutaneous pacing, and interpret 12-lead ECGs.
